An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has upheld the legitimacy of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) convention conducted in the city on November 15, 2025.
Delivering judgment on Friday, Justice Ladiran Akintola of Court 5 validated the outcome of the party’s 2025 election exercise after ruling on an application for joinder filed during the proceedings.

The court also dismissed an application for stay of proceedings brought by Nwachukwu and other applicants.
Justice Akintola granted all 13 reliefs sought by the claimant, Folahan Malomo Adelabi, who approached the court through his counsel, Musbau Adetunmbi.
