A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Abioro Damilare Athande, popularly known as ADA, has joined family members, friends, associates, mentees and well-wishers to celebrate the Otunba of Agosasa and Apogunpote of Yewaland, Chief Akeem Adigun Adegboyega, popularly known as Socopao, on the occasion of his birthday.
Abioro, who is the son of the late Pa Abioro Hodonu of Ago Egun Community, Agosasa, Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State, described Chief Adegboyega as a compassionate and generous personality whose contributions to humanity, community development and leadership have continued to earn him widespread respect.
In a congratulatory message, Abioro said Socopao had distinguished himself not only through his business activities but also through his commitment to supporting people and contributing to the development of Ipokia Local Government and Ogun State.
According to him, Chief Adegboyega’s influence extends beyond politics, as he has consistently demonstrated the qualities of a mentor, philanthropist and leader committed to empowering others.
“Chief Otunba Akeem Adigun Adegboyega, Socopao, is a kind and generous man, a philanthropist, a strong political godfather and a mentor in leadership. His contributions to the lives of many people cannot be overlooked,” Abioro said.

He noted that Socopao’s businesses and leadership responsibilities had contributed significantly to the socioeconomic development of Ipokia Local Government and the wider Nigerian society.
Abioro further stressed that genuine leadership should be viewed as an opportunity to serve humanity rather than as a platform for personal enrichment or influence.
“Leadership is service, and humanitarian service is an important responsibility. Individuals in positions of influence must learn to accept this fact, irrespective of the circumstances attached to leadership,” he said.
The APC chieftain commended Socopao for the positive impact he has made through his interactions with younger people, political associates, mentees and members of his community, describing his life of service as worthy of celebration and emulation.
He prayed for God’s continued guidance, protection and blessings upon the celebrant, while wishing him more years of good health, prosperity and fulfillment.
“I pray that God will bless your new age and continue to guide you in your day-to-day ways of life, sir. I congratulate you and wish you many happy returns, long life and prosperity,” Abioro added.
The celebration has continued to attract goodwill messages from associates, friends, family members and other well-wishers who have acknowledged Chief Adegboyega’s contributions to community development, business and leadership.
