“Public office comes with enormous responsibilities, and leadership is most meaningful when it translates into improved welfare, opportunities and a better quality of life for the people. According to Ajadi, effective grassroots administration remains important to community development because local governments are closest to the people and are strategically positioned to understand their everyday concerns, including access to basic amenities, economic opportunities and essential public services.
He added that sustained attention to community needs, responsible leadership, and constructive engagement with residents could help build stronger communities and drive inclusive development across Oyo State.
