Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo

By Ibrahim Kegbegbe

The Chieftain and Southwest Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has extended warm Ramadan greetings to Muslims across the world, with a special message to the Nigerian Muslim Ummah.

In a statement issued to journalists on Friday, 28 February, 2025, Ambassador Ajadi urged Muslims to take advantage of the holy month to foster unity, pray for the nation’s peace, and support the less privileged.

“Ramadan is a month of mercy, a time for deep reflection, prayer, and kindness. May the mercy of Almighty Allah descend upon us all in abundance. I also pray for the quick recovery of those who are ill and for divine blessings upon every home,” he said.

The NNPP chieftain also called on Muslim clerics across the country to use their sermons to promote peace, good governance, and national integration.

“Our Muslim scholars play a crucial role in guiding the society. I wish them sound health and strength to deliver sermons that will heal hearts and inspire positive change. May Allah accept the prayers of the less privileged and uplift the downtrodden,” he added.

Ambassador Ajadi further emphasized the importance of Ramadan as a period to reflect on Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges and encourage national leaders to govern with fairness and justice.

His goodwill message comes at a time when Nigerians are grappling with economic hardship and political uncertainty. The call for unity and prayers aligns with growing appeals from religious and political leaders for collective action in addressing the country’s challenges.

As the Ramadan fast continues, Ambassador Ajadi reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote religious harmony and national development.
