LAGOS — Renowned Nigerian Islamic musician, Alhaji Qamardeen Yusuf Odunlami, popularly known as Aiyeloyun, has announced the release of his new album titled INU’RE (Kindness), scheduled to drop on January 1, 2026.

The album, whose title translates to Kindness, is expected to reinforce themes of compassion, moral consciousness, and spiritual reflection, values that have consistently defined Aiyeloyun’s music career spanning more than three decades.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the project, the veteran artiste said the album was conceived as a reminder of the importance of humane values in today’s society.

“INU’RE is a message to humanity. In a time when people are divided by many things, kindness remains the simplest and strongest virtue that binds us together,” Aiyeloyun said.

Born on August 27, 1973, in Lagos, and originally from Ilorin, Kwara State, Aiyeloyun began his musical journey in the early 1990s during Arabic studies in Agege, Lagos. He officially entered the music scene in 1992 and released his debut album, Taqwallah, in 1994.

He gained wider recognition in 2003 with the release of his ninth album, Igbeyawo, which established him as one of the leading voices in Islamic music in Nigeria. Over the years, he has released more than 25 albums, addressing religious teachings, social responsibility, family values, and moral uprightness.

According to him, INU’RE (Kindness) builds on this legacy, with carefully crafted lyrics aimed at promoting peace, empathy, and community harmony.

“This album speaks to everyone — young and old. It is not just about faith, but about how we treat one another as human beings,” he added.

Industry observers say the forthcoming album is likely to resonate widely, particularly among listeners who appreciate Islamic and indigenous music with strong moral undertones.

With its release slated for the first day of 2026, INU’RE (Kindness) is expected to set a reflective tone for the new year, reinforcing Aiyeloyun’s reputation as a consistent voice of guidance, culture, and spirituality in Nigeria’s Islamic music landscape.
