OGUN STATE — A chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and Chief Executive Officer of Dardolips Information Global Technology, Hon. Abioro Damilare Athande, has extended warm Christmas and New Year greetings to Nigerians, urging citizens to embrace peace, unity and renewed hope as the country approaches the festive season.

In a goodwill message released on Saturday, Athande described Christmas as a season of love, sacrifice and compassion, calling on Nigerians to reflect on shared values that bind the nation together despite prevailing economic and social challenges.

“Christmas reminds us of the power of love, sacrifice and humanity. As Nigerians, this season should inspire us to show kindness to one another, strengthen our bonds as a people and renew our commitment to building a peaceful and prosperous nation,” Athande said.

The NNPP chieftain acknowledged the difficulties many Nigerians are currently facing, particularly economic hardship, but expressed optimism that resilience and collective effort would lead to better days ahead.

“I am fully aware of the challenges confronting our people, but I firmly believe that with unity, patience and responsible leadership, Nigeria will overcome its present trials. This festive period should give us renewed hope and the courage to look forward to a brighter future,” he stated.

Athande also called on leaders at all levels to use the season as an opportunity for self-reflection and renewed dedication to public service, noting that governance should remain people-centred.

“As we celebrate, leaders must remember that leadership is a call to serve. Our actions must always reflect empathy, accountability and genuine concern for the welfare of the people,” he added.
Looking ahead to the New Year, the technology entrepreneur urged Nigerians, especially youths, to remain optimistic, innovative and committed to national development.

“The New Year presents another opportunity to reset, to dream bigger and to work harder for the Nigeria we all desire. I encourage our youths to remain hopeful, law-abiding and focused on productive ventures that contribute to national growth,” Athande said.

He concluded by wishing Nigerians a peaceful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year, praying for improved security, economic stability and national unity.

“I wish all Nigerians a joyous Christmas and a fulfilling New Year in advance. May the coming year bring peace to our land, progress to our economy and happiness to every home,” Athande said.
