The Southwest leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and CEO of Bullion Records, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, joined other dignitaries to honor the former Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha (psc), during his Pull-Out Parade and Retirement Celebration held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, on Monday, December 9, 2024.

The event marked the retirement of CP Alamutu, who served as Ogun State’s 36th Commissioner of Police. His retirement capped a distinguished career in law enforcement, where he was recognized for his dedication to security, community policing, and maintaining peace across the state.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo praised CP Alamutu for his exemplary service to Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole. “CP Alamutu Abiodun Mustapha has been a beacon of hope and discipline in the Nigerian Police Force. His leadership as Ogun State Commissioner of Police brought stability and fostered a better relationship between the police and the public. His legacy is one of integrity and service to humanity,” Ajadi remarked.

Ajadi, accompanied by an entourage of prominent NNPP officials, emphasized the importance of recognizing individuals who have dedicated their lives to public service. “Retirement is not the end but the beginning of a new chapter. CP Alamutu deserves to be celebrated for his commitment to a safer society. We wish him all the best in this new phase of his life,” Ajadi added.

Ambassador Ajadi reiterated his call for leaders in various sectors to emulate CP Alamutu’s dedication and commitment to duty. “Nigeria needs more individuals like him, who prioritize the welfare and safety of their communities. Let us all strive to leave a legacy of service,” he stated.

Joining Ajadi at the ceremony were Kilamuwaye Badmus, the South West Public Relations Officer of the NNPP; Hon. Kehinde Teluwo, NNPP’s 2023 senatorial candidate for Ogun West; Comrade Olowu Omokehinde, the Ogun State Public Relations Officer of NNPP; Hon. Adenaya Fatai Modawoni, the 2023 Waterside Assembly candidate; Comrade Semiu Akingbala, Ogun Central Senatorial Chairman; and Comrade Biola, Ogun State Auditor of the NNPP.

The retirement ceremony was attended by an array of dignitaries from various sectors, who paid glowing tributes to CP Alamutu’s career achievements. As part of the celebration, traditional leaders, political figures, and community representatives lauded his efforts in fostering peace and addressing crime in the state.

In his response, CP Alamutu expressed gratitude to all those who gathered to celebrate his retirement. “It has been an honor to serve the people of Ogun State and Nigeria. I am grateful for the support I received throughout my career and for this wonderful celebration of my journey,” he said.

The event, which featured cultural displays and tributes, highlighted the respect and admiration CP Alamutu earned during his tenure. The celebration reinforced the importance of recognizing public servants whose work positively impacts society.

The ceremony stood as a testament to CP Alamutu’s remarkable career and the profound respect he earned from colleagues, political leaders, and the community.
