Nigerian actress and producer Fisayomi Olamide Amodemaja, popularly known as Fisayomi Abebi

As her 15th birthday approaches, young Nigerian actress and producer Fisayomi Olamide Amodemaja, popularly known as Fisayomi Abebi, is receiving warm wishes and admiration from Nollywood fans across the country. Born on May 7, 2010, in Ogun State, Fisayomi has grown to become one of the most vibrant young talents in Nigeria’s film industry.

Her journey began at the tender age of eight, performing in church dramas before making her professional debut in the Yoruba film industry at just 10 years old. Since then, she has rapidly risen through the ranks, captivating audiences with her skill and emotional depth on screen.

In 2021, she made history as Nigeria’s youngest movie producer with the release of Abebi, a film in which she also played the lead role. The movie tackled the critical issue of domestic violence in marriages, showcasing her ability to blend entertainment with social relevance.

Her filmography has continued to expand with notable roles in Apara (2021), Ere Oran (2022), Nibolowa (2022), and Firi (2023). Her stellar performances earned her the award for Most Popular Actor (Female) in Nigerian Language in 2024—a recognition she described as “a significant motivator.”

Balancing fame with academics, Fisayomi attended Bodija International College in Ibadan and recently matriculated into the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) in February 2025. Her mother, elated by her daughter’s academic milestone, recalled a touching essay Fisayomi once wrote in primary school titled The Four Gowns Every Girl Must Wear—matriculation, convocation, wedding, and maternity. “Today, she has worn the first,” her mother said. “Thank you for making us proud, my love.”

As May 7 draws near, Nollywood enthusiasts are already flooding social media with early birthday messages, hailing Fisayomi Abebi as a symbol of youthful excellence in Nigerian cinema. With her steady rise in both entertainment and education, she continues to inspire a new generation of dreamers and doers.
