As today marks Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024, Nigerians are gearing up to celebrate the season with joy and resilience despite economic challenges. Across the country, streets are adorned with sparkling lights, while bustling markets in cities like Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt witness last-minute shopping for gifts, food, and decorations.

Churches are holding carol services, and families are gathering to share the festive spirit. However, many Nigerians are lamenting the rising cost of living, which has dampened the scale of celebrations for some households.

Still, the spirit of Christmas remains alive, as communities organize charity events and outreach programs to support the less fortunate. From local concerts to street carnivals, Christmas Eve promises to unite Nigerians in celebration of love, hope, and togetherness.

Stay tuned for updates on how the country welcomes Christmas Day!
