Renowned Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Femi Adebayo, has been honored with the Honorary Award of Excellence by the Department of Theatre and Performing Arts at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE).
The award was presented by the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abayomi Sunday Fasina, in recognition of Adebayo’s outstanding contributions to the art of storytelling and performance.
Expressing his gratitude, the actor took to social media to appreciate the organizers and the FUOYE community for the warm reception. He described the honor as a significant achievement and a celebration of culture.
Adebayo, known for his remarkable roles in Nollywood, continues to inspire the next generation of filmmakers and performers with his dedication to the craft.
