Born on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has become a global ambassador for Afrobeats. Renowned for his dynamic stage presence and chart-topping hits, Davido is credited with playing a pivotal role in popularizing the genre worldwide. As a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer, his music transcends borders, blending vibrant rhythms with relatable lyrics.

Don Jazzy: The Producer Extraordinaire

On November 26, 1982, Michael Collins Ajereh, famously known as Don Jazzy, was born in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. A trailblazer in the Nigerian music industry, Don Jazzy founded Mavin Records in 2012, nurturing stars like Rema and Ayra Starr. His earlier endeavors include co-founding Mo’ Hits Records with D’banj in 2004 and working as an in-house producer for Kanye West’s GOOD Music from 2011 to 2013. With a reputation for spotting and shaping talent, Don Jazzy remains an iconic figure in African music production.

Pasuma: The Fuji Maestro

November 27, 1967, saw the birth of Wasiu Alabi Ajibola Odetola, popularly known as Pasuma, in Mushin, Lagos State. A pioneer of Fuji music, Pasuma rose to fame in 1993 with his hit album Recognition. His innovative fusion of Fuji and hip-hop has earned him numerous accolades and nicknames, including “Ijoba Fuji” and “Gauzu Fuji.” Beyond music, Pasuma has also dabbled in acting, further cementing his legacy as a versatile entertainer.

Gbenga Omotoso: The Media Strategist

Born on November 11, 1961, Gbenga Omotoso is a journalist, writer, and columnist whose career has left an indelible mark on Nigerian media. He served as the editor of The Nation newspaper, where he played a vital role in shaping public discourse through impactful journalism. His leadership and dedication earned him a new role as the Commissioner for the Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy, where he continues to influence narratives and drive communication strategies in the bustling state of Lagos.

Ibrahim Kegbegbe: The Political and Entertainment Journalist

Born on November 17, 1979, in Okepopo, Lagos Island, Ibrahim Taofeek Kegbegbe has carved a niche for himself in journalism. A graduate of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Kegbegbe has over five years of experience in print and multimedia journalism, contributing to The Nation and Daily Trust. His reporting spans socio-political and entertainment stories, with a regional focus on Africa. As the Head of Media and Publicity Secretary for Bullion Records, his journalistic prowess extends into the entertainment industry, highlighting African creativity on a global stage.
