
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habib Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has expressed deep admiration for Fuji icon Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, fondly referred to as “Oganla Fuji.” Portable described Pasuma as the musician he respects most among his contemporaries, vowing never to tolerate any act of disrespect toward the veteran artiste.
Portable made this declaration on Thursday, January 23, 2025, during the Iyana Ilogbo Day celebration held in Iyana Ilogbo, Ogun State.
Speaking at the event, Portable emphasized his unwavering loyalty to Pasuma, describing the Fuji maestro as a source of inspiration. He went further to warn fellow musicians against any form of misconduct toward the Fuji star, asserting that such behavior would not be condoned.
In response, Pasuma praised Portable, acknowledging his talent and contribution to the Nigerian music industry. The Fuji legend also expressed pride in Portable’s roots, highlighting that the Afrobeat artiste share Iyana Ilogbo as his place of origin.
The event, which drew a large crowd of fans and community members, showcased the mutual respect between the two entertainers and underscored their connection to the Iyana Ilogbo community.
