Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in Lagos State will, from Tuesday, April 22, 2025, begin their annual ministerial press briefings, aimed at showcasing the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration’s achievements over the past year.

The 40-day-long event, to be held at the Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre, Alausa Secretariat, will be anchored by the Ministry of Information and Strategy. It will feature presentations from members of the State Executive Council, each detailing the performance of their respective agencies.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, described the annual briefings as a vital platform for transparency and citizens’ engagement.

“Lagosians are invited to actively participate and stay informed as each member of the State Executive Council presents a detailed account of his or her Agency’s performance,” Omotoso said. “Key projects, impactful initiatives, and the direct benefits of our policies on the lives of residents will be thoroughly highlighted.”

He stressed the administration’s dedication to accountability, noting that the exercise offers a unique opportunity for the public to gain firsthand insight into the developmental strides made across various sectors.

“It is time to tender the government’s scorecard,” he added. “The Sanwo-Olu administration has done so much, and Lagosians will be proud of their Governor.”

The series of briefings will culminate on May 29 with a comprehensive address by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, summarizing the key achievements highlighted during the engagements.

Residents are encouraged to follow the briefings across traditional and social media platforms, as the government continues to prioritize the welfare of Lagosians through the THEMES+ Agenda—the strategic development pillars guiding the administration.
