Former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has said he is not certain of securing the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Obi, who was the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, made this known in a viral video message where he stressed that his political commitment goes beyond personal ambition.
According to him, no one can be completely certain about securing a party’s ticket, noting that what remains most important is dedication to the collective cause and the vision driving the political movement.
“Someone asked me how I know for sure that the ADC will give me the presidential ticket. I cannot be certain. What matters is that we are committed to a cause,” Obi said.
