Ibadan—A Magistrate’s Court in Oyo State has ordered the remand of Naomi Silekunola Ogunwusi, the former wife of the Ooni of Ife, and Oriyomi Hamzat, the chairman of Agidigbo FM, in connection with the tragic stampede at a children’s funfair in Ibadan.

The incident, which claimed several lives, led to the arrest of individuals linked to the event. The court also directed the remand of other suspects pending further investigations.

Authorities are intensifying efforts to unravel the circumstances surrounding the stampede, while the case has been adjourned for further hearing.
