Different Shots While Harcher Was Performing

By Ibrahim Kegbegbe

LAGOS, Nigeria — Just days after shutting down two major venues on the Lagos Mainland with his double single premiere, Bullion Records’ rising Afrobeat sensation, Abdul Rahman Yusuf, popularly known as Harcher, took his wave of musical energy across the Lagos Lagoon to the Island, where he left fans thrilled at the Black Box Club, Ikate, Lekki Phase 2.

The event, which took place at 22, Kusenla Road, Chisco, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, marked the final leg of what fans have now dubbed a “Lagos musical takeover.” With his vibrant performances of Jo Si (Dance To It) and L.O.V.E, Harcher once again proved why he is fast becoming one of Nigeria’s most exciting Afrobeat exports.

A video clip of Harcher’s entrance and performance — now circulating on social media — shows the crowd erupting in excitement as the artist delivered back-to-back hits with his signature blend of rhythm, lyrical depth, and energetic stage presence. Club-goers could be seen dancing, cheering, and chanting his name in what one attendee called “a moment of pure Afrobeat magic.”

Harcher, who had earlier debuted the two singles at Westend SportsBar in Akowonjo and Eagle’s Palace & Hotel in Abule Egba, expressed gratitude to his fans for what he described as “unbelievable support and love.” Speaking briefly after his Black Box Club performance, he said:

“To see this kind of energy — three shows, three locations, and the crowd keeps getting louder — it’s inspiring. This is what keeps me going. Lagos, I love you!”

The singles, released officially on April 1, 2025, have already garnered impressive streaming numbers across major platforms, and the anticipation for their accompanying music videos is building. Harcher has promised that the visuals will match the intensity and cultural vibrance of his sound.

Bullion Records Chairman and CEO, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, who was present at all three shows, reiterated the label’s vision of shaping artists with global appeal.

“This is not just a performance tour — it’s a statement,” Ajadi said. “Harcher is the future, and Bullion Records is proud to provide the platform for him to shine, not just in Lagos or Nigeria, but across the world.”

With his EP set for July and a full album scheduled for release by the end of 2025, Harcher’s journey is just beginning. The Lagos trilogy of performances, culminating in the Black Box Club shutdown, confirms that his star power is real — and rising.
