Rising Nigerian teen actress Fisayomi Abebi, popularly known as Fisayomi Olamide Amodemaja, has added a significant feather to her cap by winning the “New Female Actor” award at the prestigious GLORSON Awards, held on May 10, 2025.

The award, presented at a colorful ceremony attended by leading figures in the entertainment industry, marks a major milestone in the young actress’s blossoming career. Known for her compelling performances in several Yoruba-language productions, Fisayomi has quickly become a name to watch in Nollywood.

Following the announcement, social media was abuzz with congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues, and industry watchers, many describing the honor as “just the beginning of great things” for the teen sensation.

A modest yet beaming Fisayomi took to her social media pages to thank her supporters, writing: “I’m deeply honored and grateful. This is more than an award; it’s a motivation to keep dreaming and working hard. Thank you, GLORSON Awards.”

While some posts initially credited the award to a group named Son of Glory Entertainment, verified sources confirm that the accolade was presented solely by the organizers of the GLORSON Awards.

The GLORSON Awards are committed to celebrating excellence and spotlighting emerging talents in Nigeria’s entertainment space. Fisayomi’s recognition reaffirms the event’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of stars.

With this new recognition, industry analysts believe Fisayomi is on track to become one of Nollywood’s leading female actors in the coming years. As her journey unfolds, her fans—especially among the younger demographic—remain her strongest cheerleaders, echoing the sentiment: “This is just the beginning of great things.”
