The Ogun State Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Barrister Olufemi John Aina, has emphasized the importance of unity and progress within the party, describing the NNPP as a vehicle for Nigeria’s liberation from economic hardship. Aina made this declaration during the NNPP Ogun State End-of-Year Celebration, held on Sunday, December 29, 2024, in Ado-Odo Ota.

The event brought together party members, stakeholders, and supporters to celebrate achievements and reaffirm their commitment to the NNPP’s vision for a prosperous Nigeria.

In his welcome address, Aina described the NNPP as a platform for hope and transformation. “The NNPP represents the collective aspirations of Nigerians for better governance, economic liberation, and social integration. Our mission is to work together to achieve these goals,” he said.

Commendations for Ajadi’s Leadership

Barrister Aina praised Ambassador Ajadi as a visionary leader and humanitarian. He lauded Ajadi’s contributions to the party and the people, particularly through his entrepreneurial initiatives. Highlighting the impact of Cocosamba, a product from Ajadi’s Bullion Go-Neat Global Limited, Aina noted its role in revitalizing marriages and improving lives.

“Cocosamba has rejuvenated many broken homes and enhanced countless lives. Ambassador Ajadi’s leadership and dedication to empowerment are truly commendable,” Aina said.

Ajadi’s Vision for a Better Nigeria

Speaking at the event, the South-West Chieftain of the NNPP, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, redefined the southwesthieftainhlighting its dedication to social, economic, and political progress. Ajadi described the NNPP as a platform for “new initiatives from Nigerians,” emphasizing its role in empowering citizens to create a better future.

“The time to liberate Nigerians from economic hardships is now,” Ajadi declared. “The NNPP stands for the progress of people, and together, we will create a better Nigeria for all.”

Ajadi also commended the federal government’s proposed plan to enable voting using the National Identification Number (NIN), calling it a progressive step toward electoral transparency. He pledged to assist Nigerians with NIN and voter card registrations starting in January 2025.

“Liberating our country is worth dying for. If one cannot fight for the progress of the nation, then what is the essence of being alive in a stagnant country?” he remarked.

Empowerment and Commitment

NNPP members expressed gratitude for Ajadi’s commitment to empowering patriotic Nigerians. Omoba Adeshina, a party member, said, “I came here today to personally thank Ambassador Ajadi for his great initiative and to confirm his promise of empowerment.”

The Ogun State Public Relations Officer of the NNPP, Comrade Olayemi Olowu Omokehinde, described Ajadi as a “talk-and-do politician” who keeps his promises. Similarly, Alhaji Taofeek Adegboyega, the Organizing Secretary of NNPP in Ogun State, shared how Ajadi’s support transformed his life from a farmer to a successful land seller and business owner.
