Badagry, Lagos – June 25, 2025

It was a grand celebration of legacy, leadership, and love as dignitaries, family, friends, and admirers converged on Badagry town to celebrate the birthday of Chief Ibrahim Kilanko Olalowo, fondly known as Alado, the Chief Executive Officer of Finar Hotel, Badagry.

The event, which took place at his office residence along Oloko Seme Gbaji Expressway in Badagry, Lagos, was more than a birthday party—it was a tribute to a life committed to uplifting the less privileged and empowering the youth.

The air was filled with the rhythm of traditional Yoruba music, interspersed with heartfelt speeches, tears of gratitude, and joyous dancing. The gathering bore testimony to the deep respect and admiration the community holds for Chief Olalowo, whose philanthropic efforts have touched countless lives across Lagos and beyond.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Kougnihin Ignace aka VIP, the Chief Executive Officer of VJT Concept, congratulated Chief Olalowo on the occasion of his birthday and described him as “a man whose generosity and vision have transformed not just businesses, but people’s destinies.”

“Chief Olalowo is a beacon of hope. His support for indigent students, young entrepreneurs, and countless families has been consistent and sincere. On this special day, I join many others to pray that God Almighty continues to bless him with long life, sound health, and even greater accomplishments,” Ignace stated with deep emotion.

In an emotional tribute, Vivi Jesuton a well-known Ogu ( Egun ) Language music artists, entrepreneur and executive guest at the event, described the celebrant as a “pillar in the community,” whose actions, he noted, “speak louder than titles.”

“He doesn’t wait to be asked before offering help. He sees needs and meets them. From sponsoring young people through school to helping startup businesses gain footing, Alado has become a father figure to many of us,” he said.

At one point, the atmosphere grew even more charged when another guest broke down in tears while recounting the chief’s numerous acts of kindness and his open-door policy for anyone with a dream or problem.

The celebration culminated in a lavish banquet, with guests treated to local delicacies, live music performances, and a traditional Yoruba praise session that paid homage to the Chief’s roots and achievements.

Chief Ibrahim Kilanko Olalowo, a respected businessman and cultural icon, thanked the guests for their love and support, reiterating his commitment to human development and community growth.

“This is not just a celebration of my birthday—it is a reminder that our purpose is to lift others as we climb,” he said with humility.
