Despite political party affiliations, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and prominent Yoruba monarchs warmly received Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, during her official visit to the state.

The governor and traditional rulers from across Yorubaland joined in a show of unity and hospitality as they posed for group photographs with the First Lady at the Government House in Ibadan.

The visit, marked by cultural display and cordial interaction, signified a shared commitment to national unity and women-focused initiatives championed by Senator Tinubu.

Photographs show Governor Makinde, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and the monarchs during the courtesy reception.
