In a groundbreaking move to spotlight young talents in the Fuji music industry, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, popularly known as Oganla Fuji, has announced the imminent launch of the “Fuji Quest for Young Fuji Artistes.”

Speaking during a recent live performance, Pasuma shared his vision for the initiative, emphasizing the need to nurture and showcase budding Fuji musicians. He revealed that the program will pair renowned Fuji stars with up-and-coming talents in joint performances designed to introduce the next generation of Fuji artistes to a broader audience.

Adding to the excitement, Pasuma disclosed that his close ally and fellow Fuji icon, Saheed Osupa, fondly referred to as the “King of Music,” will play a pivotal role in the project. Together, they plan to organize collaborative stage performances, giving unknown or lesser-known artistes a platform to shine.

“It’s high time we started showcasing young Fuji artistes to the world,” Pasuma declared, stressing the importance of mentoring the next generation to preserve and advance the Fuji music tradition.

Pasuma, whose full name is Wasiu Alabi Odetola, is a celebrated Fuji musician and actor. Born on November 27, 1967, he has earned several prestigious titles, including “Oganla Fuji,” “Ijoba Fuji,” and “Gauzu Fuji,” for his immense contributions to the genre.

Similarly, Saheed Akorede Babatunde Okunola, better known as Saheed Osupa or K.S.O., is a revered Fuji musician and actor. Born on August 7, 1969, Osupa has established himself as a trailblazer in the Fuji music scene, known for his unique style and unwavering commitment to promoting the genre.

The “Fuji Quest” is expected to serve as a dynamic platform for young talents to learn from seasoned legends while gaining recognition in the competitive music industry. Fans of Fuji music are eagerly anticipating further details about this innovative project.

This joint effort by Pasuma and Osupa represents a significant step toward preserving Fuji’s rich cultural heritage and ensuring its evolution for future generations.
