Seme, Badagry, Lagos State — A notable chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and former Ogun West senatorial aspirant, Abioro Damilare Athande, on Saturday joined family members, friends and staff of Alado Group of Companies at the naming ceremony of a newborn baby girl in Seme, Badagry area of Lagos State.
The ceremony, which attracted dignitaries and well-wishers, was held in honour of the daughter of Mr. Kougnihin Ignace Alihonou and his wife, Mrs. Kougnihin Djidonou Valery Olamide. The couple named their daughter Ayomide Divine Kponjesu, amid prayers and goodwill messages from guests.

Abioro, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Dardolips Information Global Technology, a public relations firm, described the birth of the child as a blessing to the family and prayed for divine guidance over her life.
“God has blessed this family with a beautiful daughter. It is my sincere prayer that God will grant her wisdom, knowledge and understanding as she grows. May God be her guide and support her throughout her journey in life,” Abioro said.

He congratulated the parents on the safe delivery and urged them to raise the child in the fear of God and strong moral values.
Also present at the ceremony was Chief Ibrahim Kilanko Olalowo, popularly known as Alado, the Chief Executive Officer of IB-Kilanko Unique Concept, who offered special prayers for the newborn.
“I pray that God will grant this child the grace to be great in life and fulfill her destiny,” Chief Olalowo said. “May God also provide everything required to make her successful on earth.”

He further congratulated the parents and described the birth as a source of joy not only to the family but to the larger community.
In their remarks, the parents, Mr. Kougnihin Ignace Alihonou and Mrs. Djidonou Valery Olamide, expressed gratitude to everyone who attended the ceremony, describing the show of love as overwhelming.
“We sincerely appreciate everyone who came to celebrate with us. May God continue to bless you all, and may the bond of love among us continue to grow stronger,” the couple said.
Members and staff of Alado Group of Companies, Badagry, who attended the ceremony, also wished the child success in all ramifications of life and prayed for her future.
