LAGOS, NIGERIA — The Chief Executive Officer of Dardolips Information Global Technology and chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Hon. Abioro Athande Damilare, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Mr. Idowu Femi and Mrs. Idowu Adenike Tokunbo on the passing of their beloved mother, the late Mrs. Adenike Cecilia Idowu (née Adesitimi), who passed away on September 20, 2025.

The final burial service, held at Laocassionz Event Place, Charity Road, Oko Oba, Abule Egba, Lagos State, brought together family members, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers who came to celebrate a life well lived.

In his condolence message, Hon. Abioro described the late Mrs. Idowu as “a virtuous woman whose life was defined by kindness, humility, and an unshakable faith in God.”

“Mama lived a fulfilled life and left behind beautiful memories for her children and grandchildren,” he said. “Her legacy of love, discipline, and hard work continues to shine through her family. I know this loss is deeply felt, but I pray that God gives the Idowu family the fortitude to bear it. She was not just a mother but a light to everyone who knew her.”

Abioro added that the life of Mrs. Idowu was an inspiring example of motherhood, dedication, and grace.

“Your mother’s warmth, her hospitality, and her prayers will continue to echo in your lives,” he said to the children. “Even in death, she remains a guiding light. I encourage the family to take solace in the fact that she is resting peacefully in the bosom of her Creator.”

Speaking with newsmen, Mr. Idowu Femi Joseph expressed gratitude to God for granting his mother a long and impactful life.

“We are thankful for the grace to celebrate our mother,” he said. “She lived a life of purpose and left behind a legacy of love and unity. We will continue to uphold her teachings and honor her memory.”

In her remarks, Mrs. Idowu Adenike Tokunbo appreciated the affection her late mother-in-law showed her during her lifetime.

“She was a loving and prayerful woman who treated me like her own daughter,” she said tearfully. “I pray that God grants her eternal rest and watches over the family she left behind.”

The event was graced by friends and colleagues from the Flight and Forwarding Association of Nigeria , Apapa, Lagos State, who came to show solidarity and comfort the bereaved family. Among them were Mr. Afolabi Olushola, Mr Albduazeez Muhammad Taofeeq, Baale Ogidi Gbogbo in Ibadan, Oyo State, Mr. Oladele Aloba, Mr. Adeyemi Lukman, Mr. Yilshan Joel, Mr. and Mrs. Adams Ogbase, Mr. Okulenu Adeoye, Mr. Kayode Olaitan, Mr. Omolayo Tosin, Mr Rasheed Thanni, Mr Suleiman Hammed, Mr Muyideen Bello and Mr Taiwo Olagunju.

Well-wishers rejoiced with the family, offering prayers that God would continue to strengthen and protect the children and grandchildren while upholding the legacy that the late matriarch left behind.
