In a historic reconciliation moment for the Fuji music industry, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, popularly known as Oganla Fuji or Ijoba Fuji, has settled his long-standing rift with his mentee in Fuji industry, Alhaji Taye Akande Adebisi, famously known as Taye Currency. The reconciliation took place at the sacred Kaaba in Mecca during the ongoing 2025 Humrah pilgrimage.

The duo, who had been at loggerheads for years over undisclosed disagreements, embraced peace in the Holy Land, putting an end to years of rivalry that had divided their fan bases. The settlement was facilitated by a group of Pasuma’s loyal fans who brought Taye Currency to Pasuma’s lodge in Saudi Arabia, urging the two Fuji icons to let go of past grievances.

In an emotional appeal, Taye Currency publicly apologized to Pasuma, acknowledging his past actions and seeking forgiveness. “I beg Alhaji Wasiu Alabi to forgive me, and I also appeal to all his fans to let go of any grievances they may hold against me. As we stand here at the Kaaba, the Holy Land, I pray for peace and unity,” Currency stated.

Responding to the plea, Pasuma accepted the apology and extended an olive branch to his former rival. “As Currency is begging me now, he is also appealing to all of you, our fans. Pasuma fans and Taye Currency fans should not be annoyed anymore. Let peace reign,” Pasuma declared, signifying the end of their discord.

The reconciliation was met with excitement and jubilation among their supporters, many of whom had long wished for the two Fuji greats to reconcile. The historic moment at the Kaaba marks a new chapter in their careers, one that could pave the way for future collaborations and a stronger Fuji music industry.

With their rift now in the past, fans are hopeful that this reconciliation will not only unite their followings but also inspire peace and harmony in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
