The Executive Committee Members (Excos) and other members of Ward E of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Eti-Osa Local Government Area, Lagos State, have extended warm birthday wishes to Hon. Bolaji Muftau Ogunderu, the councillor representing the ward and the current Leader of the Eti-Osa Legislative Arm, as he marks his birthday today, Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

Described by many as an “amiable leader,” Hon. Ogunderu has earned widespread praise for his commitment to grassroots development and active community engagement. In celebration of his new age, members of his constituency have flooded his social media platforms with heartfelt messages and prayers, reflecting the strong bond he shares with the people.

Among those who publicly conveyed their greetings are prominent Ward E stakeholders and active members such as Kudiratu Balogun, Michael Collins, Rasheedat Aderemi, Ajoke Omowunmi, Williams Oluwatoyin, and Omobolaji Okikiola. Their messages not only expressed joy but also reaffirmed their support and appreciation for Ogunderu’s exemplary leadership.

In a cheerful and self-reflective post on his Facebook page, the celebrant wrote: “Happy birthday to me! It’s my day of joy. I wish myself long life and prosperity. Aging with grace. I always give glory to God Almighty… Hip hip hip, hurray!”

The Editor-in-Chief of The Merit Newspaper, Mr. Ibrahim Taofeek Kegbegbe, also joined well-wishers in Eti-Osa to celebrate the council leader, commending Hon. Ogunderu as he adds another year.

Hon. Ogunderu has been instrumental in championing legislative advocacy for community welfare and infrastructural development across Eti-Osa. He is often praised for being accessible and responsive to the needs of his constituents. His tenure has witnessed impactful ward-level initiatives, including youth empowerment programs and sanitation drives.

Political observers in Eti-Osa describe his leadership style as one marked by humility, active listening, and a genuine interest in the progress of the people. As the Leader of the Legislative Arm, he has aligned his work with the broader goals of the local government administration under Council Chairman Hon. Saheed Adesegun Bankole.

Residents of Ward E, both online and offline, continue to shower the councillor with well-wishes, praying for greater accomplishments, wisdom, and strength as he continues to serve the people.
