An alleged insider of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has claimed that the Supreme Court of Nigeria may deliver judgment on a matter involving the party on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at about 2PM.
The source, who spoke to The Merit Newspaper on condition of anonymity, said the information was based on internal speculation following the court’s earlier decision to reserve judgment after hearing arguments in the case.
According to the claim, party stakeholders are anticipating a possible ruling that could have implications for the leadership and internal structure of the ADC, which has recently been marked by legal and political tensions.
However, the source stressed that the information is not official and described it as “rumour within political circles,” adding that no formal communication has been issued by the Supreme Court regarding any judgment date.
