Lagos, Nigeria – June 15, 2025

It was a moment of joy and heartfelt celebration on Saturday, June 14, 2025, as prominent figures of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) gathered to honour Mrs. Rekiyah Abdulrazaq on the occasion of her 50th birthday at De Orange Place, Abattoir Road, Agege, Lagos.

Leading the entourage was the Southwest Chieftain of the NNPP and Chairman/CEO of Bullion Records, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, who graced the event alongside Hon. Kehinde Teluwo, the NNPP’s Ogun Central Senatorial candidate in the 2023 general elections.

Ambassador Ajadi, in his tribute, described Mrs. Abdulrazaq as “a golden woman with a heart of service and strength,” applauding her enduring support to community causes and her unwavering role in the lives of many.

“Turning 50 is no small feat,” Ajadi said while addressing guests. “Mrs. Abdulrazaq represents the very essence of womanhood — resilient, compassionate, and purpose-driven. She’s a mother not just to her children but to many who have benefited from her wisdom and support. Today, we are not just celebrating a birthday, but a legacy of kindness.”

Ajadi, known for his philanthropy and political advocacy, used the occasion to stress the importance of celebrating individuals who have made quiet yet powerful contributions to society.

Hon. Kehinde Teluwo, who shared a close relationship with the celebrant, echoed similar sentiments. He hailed Mrs. Abdulrazaq as “an embodiment of humility and empathy,” noting that her personal life and community engagements reflect a deep commitment to human development.

“It is rare to find people like Rekiyah who embody both strength and gentleness,” Teluwo stated. “She has remained a rock in her family and a pillar of support in our political and social engagements. Reaching 50 in such good health and spirit is a blessing we are all grateful for.”

Guests at the occasion were treated to cultural performances, tributes, and a lively reception that reflected the warmth of the celebrant’s personality. Friends, family, and political associates took turns to express their admiration for Mrs. Abdulrazaq, who beamed with joy throughout the celebration.

In their birthday wishes, both Ajadi and Teluwo prayed for continued good health, peace of mind, and fulfillment in the years ahead for the celebrant.

“May the next phase of your life be even more impactful,” Ambassador Ajadi said. “We are proud to know you, and we look forward to many more milestones.”

“Happy 50th birthday, dear sister and friend,” Teluwo added. “May your life continue to be filled with joy, love, and divine grace.”
