Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, a prominent entrepreneur, philanthropist, and political figure, has congratulated Mrs. Olufunmilayo Odunleye Mayungbe, the National Leader of the Ajadi New Era Foundation (ANEF), on her birthday, describing her as “a rare gem whose integrity and commitment to grassroots empowerment are second to none.”
The birthday message was contained in a press statement released by Ambassador Ajadi on Thursday, July 17, 2025, where he extolled the virtues of Mrs. Mayungbe, one of the key figures in the Ajadi Movement.
“Mrs. Mayungbe is a straightforward, upright, honest, and credible leader. Her loyalty to the ideals of ANEF and her tireless efforts in touching the lives of the less privileged through grassroots advocacy deserve special recognition. I celebrate her today not just for her birthday, but for her life of purpose,” Ajadi said.
ANEF, a socio-political and humanitarian platform founded as part of Ajadi’s larger vision for societal transformation, has over the years carried out multiple outreach programs aimed at youth empowerment, vocational training, and small business support across various communities in Nigeria. It has grown into one of the core engines through which Ambassador Ajadi reaches the people at the grassroots level.
Mrs. Mayungbe, a long-time grassroots mobilizer and social worker, assumed leadership of the Foundation two years ago and has since coordinated several initiatives that promote youth participation in civic duties and community development. Under her leadership, ANEF has distributed educational materials, offered healthcare assistance, and empowered dozens of women and young people with vocational tools and startup funds.

Ambassador Ajadi, often referred to by his followers as “Don,” is widely regarded as a man of vision who blends philanthropy with politics in his quest to change the narrative in Nigeria’s democratic space.
“Many talk about change; we act it,” Ajadi said during a recent interview. “The real dawn of a new era is when people like Mrs. Mayungbe rise from the people, lead the people, and serve with dignity and sacrifice. That’s what ANEF stands for.”
Ajadi, who is known for his bold stance on justice, equity, and youth development, has continued to build momentum among young Nigerians through his philanthropic works, including scholarships, business grants, and leadership mentorship programs.
As Mrs. Mayungbe marks another milestone, supporters and members of the Foundation also took to social media to send in their goodwill messages, hailing her as “a leader of conscience and a mother to the community.”
