Ibadan, Oyo State – Saturday, August 16, 2025

Fast-rising Nigerian Juju musician, Otunba Femi Fadipe, popularly known as FemoLancaster, has been showered with praises as he celebrates his birthday today, Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, a frontline politician and businessman, in his congratulatory message, described the Ibadan-based artist as a cultural torchbearer whose sound is both rooted in Yoruba tradition and globally appealing.

“FemoLancaster is not just a musician, he is a cultural ambassador whose classical Juju sound continues to remind us of the beauty of our Yoruba heritage,” Ambassador Ajadi said. “As he adds another year today, I celebrate his life, his artistry, and his rising influence in the Nigerian entertainment scene. My prayer is that he continues to grow in good health, wisdom, and greater musical exploits.”

While FemoLancaster is highly dominant in Oyo State and across the South-West, his craft has also taken him beyond Nigeria’s borders. He has thrilled audiences in the United Kingdom, Canada, and other parts of the world, projecting Juju music to international stages and connecting the Yoruba cultural sound with diverse global listeners.

Ambassador Ajadi further emphasized the importance of recognizing artistes who are committed to preserving indigenous music while expanding its reach internationally. “In a time when modern trends threaten to overshadow our traditional sounds, FemoLancaster’s dedication to Juju is worthy of commendation. He represents continuity, resilience, and the richness of Yoruba culture, now being exported to the world,” he added.

FemoLancaster’s growing international profile places him among the new generation of Juju musicians keeping alive the legacy of icons such as King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey, while modernising the sound for younger audiences.

Fans, colleagues, and admirers have also taken to various platforms to send their goodwill messages, describing him as a gifted artist destined for even greater global recognition.

“As FemoLancaster celebrates today,” Ajadi reiterated, “I wish him more success, more recognition, and the global stage his talent truly deserves.”
