There was laughter, joy, and a touch of tears at the Ikoyi Marriage Registry on Thursday, April 24, as Damilare Athande, a renowned political stakeholder and CEO of a public relations agency, and his bride, Abimbola Senami, made their vows official.
For the groom, it was a moment that marked both a personal and professional milestone.
“This day means everything to me. God has been faithful, and I’m grateful that everything went as planned,” said Damilare, the brain behind Dardolips Information Global Technology.
Abimbola, beaming with excitement, stood elegantly by his side. “I’m overwhelmed with joy,” she said. “Marrying Damilare is a dream come true. We’re ready to build our future together.”
The union links two notable families — the Hunge Kehinde family of the bride and the family of the late Pa Abioro Hodonu of the groom. Both lineages were well represented as guests in traditional attire gathered to witness the simple yet significant occasion.
