Abeokuta, Ogun State – July 20, 2025

The Ogun State Public Relations Officer of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Hon. Comrade Olayemi Olowu Omokehinde, has extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, the party’s 2023 gubernatorial candidate and a prominent political figure in the state, describing him as “a rare breed of politician” whose influence continues to inspire both the old and young in the Nigerian political space.

In a statement made available to The Merit Newspaper on Sunday, Comrade Olayemi described Ajadi as a “visionary leader and tireless advocate for a new Nigeria,” lauding his unwavering commitment to service and his enduring impact on grassroots politics in Ogun State.

“Ambassador Ajadi is not just a leader, but a builder of people, a man of integrity, and a tireless fighter for equity and justice. Today, we celebrate a political icon whose passion for humanity and development continues to reshape the vision of our party,” Olayemi said.

Ajadi, who flew the NNPP flag during the 2023 Ogun gubernatorial election, is widely regarded as one of the most grassroots-oriented political figures in the state. Though he did not win the election, his campaign was praised for its clarity of vision, people-centered approach, and commitment to empowering youths and women across all 20 local government areas in the state.

“As his Public Relations Officer, I have watched firsthand how he mentors young leaders, builds party structures with discipline and unity, and speaks truth to power without fear,” Olayemi added. “On this special day, I wish him long life, sound health, and continued success in all his endeavours.”

Ambassador Ajadi, who also serves as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bullion Records, is known for his philanthropy, youth empowerment initiatives, and investments in the entertainment and education sectors. His dual role as a businessman and politician has earned him accolades across party lines.

The birthday celebration, which took place in his hometown and was attended by NNPP stakeholders, friends, and well-wishers, served not only as a tribute to his personal accomplishments but also as a renewed call for inclusive governance and visionary leadership in Ogun State.

Comrade Olayemi urged party members and the general public to rally behind Ajadi’s ideals of justice, equity, and progressive governance, adding that the NNPP remains the credible alternative Nigeria needs.
