The Music Advertisement Association of Nigeria (MAAN) celebrated its 35th anniversary with a grand award ceremony held yesterday, January 15, 2025, in Ikeja, Lagos.
At the event, Fuji music icon Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, popularly known as Oganla Fuji, was honoured with the title “Grand Commander of Fuji Music”, recognizing his immense contributions to the genre. Similarly, Sulaimon Alao Malaika, fondly called Qibla Fuji, was awarded “Best Fuji Artiste of the Year”, highlighting his exceptional artistry in 2024.
The ceremony was a gathering of music enthusiasts and industry stakeholders, further cementing the significance of Fuji music in Nigeria’s entertainment landscape.
