The senatorial candidate of Oyo Central Senatorial District under the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has extended warm Eid al-Adha greetings to Muslims and residents across Oyo State, urging Nigerians to embrace the values of sacrifice, compassion, unity, and peaceful coexistence as symbolised by the Islamic festival.

Ajadi, who recently distributed over 500 bags of rice to residents, party members, executives, youth groups, grassroots mobilisers, and other stakeholders across Oyo Central Senatorial District ahead of the celebration, said the festive season should serve as a reminder of the importance of supporting one another, especially during difficult economic times.

In his Eid message made available to journalists on Tuesday, the APM Oyo Central Senatorial District candidate noted that the spirit of Eid al-Adha goes beyond celebration, stressing that it reflects obedience to God, generosity to humanity, and commitment to societal harmony.

According to him, the current economic realities facing many Nigerian families require leaders and privileged individuals to demonstrate empathy and practical support capable of easing hardship among the people.

Ajadi stated that his rice distribution initiative formed part of his long-standing humanitarian activities aimed at supporting vulnerable households and strengthening community solidarity across the state.

He explained that leadership should not be limited to election periods alone but must consistently translate into meaningful service, welfare support, and people-oriented interventions capable of impacting lives positively.

The politician and entrepreneur further urged Nigerians, irrespective of religion or political affiliation, to use the Eid celebration to pray for peace, stability, and national progress.

He also called on political office holders and aspiring leaders to prioritize policies and initiatives that directly improve the living conditions of ordinary citizens.

Ajadi, known for his involvement in youth empowerment, community development, and grassroots political mobilization, reaffirmed his commitment to initiatives that promote social welfare, unity, and inclusive development across Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
