Mr. Alao Daniel, Eti-Osa PDP LGA Chairman

By Ibrahim Kegbegbe

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State has elected Mr. Alao Daniel as its new chairman following a peaceful and well-attended party congress held over the weekend.

The event, which took place at the party’s secretariat in Ikoyi, witnessed a large turnout of delegates, stakeholders, and supporters from across the local government.

Speaking shortly after the declaration of results, Hon. Kazeem Onipako, one of the prominent leaders of the party in Eti-Osa, congratulated the newly elected chairman and commended party members for conducting themselves peacefully throughout the process.

“Victory comes only from God,” Hon. Onipako said. “I sincerely congratulate Mr. Alao Daniel on his well-deserved emergence as chairman of our great party in Eti-Osa. His commitment, loyalty, and years of service have earned him the trust and confidence of the people.”

He added that the emergence of Mr. Daniel marks a new dawn for the PDP in the area and expressed optimism that his leadership would unite party members and strengthen the party’s chances ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“We believe Mr. Daniel will bring renewed energy, inclusiveness, and accountability to our local government chapter,” Onipako added. “This is not just a personal victory for him but a collective success for all Eti-Osa PDP members.”

Political observers describe the election as a key step toward rebuilding the PDP’s grassroots structure across Lagos State, as the party seeks to strengthen its internal democracy and reconnect with the electorate.
