Prominent community leader and philanthropist, Hon. Semiu Akingbala, has extended warm felicitations to Her Royal Highness, Olori Barakat Federera Akamo, wife of His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Fatai Akorede Akamo, on the occasion of her birthday celebrated on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Akingbala, in a goodwill message made available to journalists, described the royal mother as a woman of virtue, compassion and uncommon dedication to the development and well-being of the people of Itori and its environs.

The Merit Newspaper acknowledges that Akingbala noted that Olori Barakat Akamo has continued to complement the efforts of Kabiyesi through her motherly care, humanitarian gestures and unwavering support for women, youths and the less privileged in the community.

According to him, the queen’s humility, wisdom and commitment to peace and progress have endeared her to the people and earned her admiration across Itori Land.

“Today, I join sons and daughters of Itori Land, friends and well-wishers in celebrating Her Royal Highness, Olori Barakat Federera Akamo, on this remarkable occasion of her birthday,” Akingbala said.

“We thank Almighty Allah for preserving your life and granting you the grace to continue serving humanity with love and compassion. Your motherly affection towards our people and your immense support for Kabiyesi on the throne are worthy of commendation.”

He added: “Your grace, wisdom and concern for the welfare of women and young people in our community have not gone unnoticed. You have remained a source of inspiration and a shining example of humility, kindness and service.”

Offering prayers for the celebrant, Akingbala said, “As you mark another year, I pray that Almighty Allah blesses you with sound health, peace, happiness and many more fruitful years. May your new age usher in greater joy, divine favour and unlimited blessings, and may you continue to age gracefully alongside Kabiyesi in love, prosperity and good health.”

He further described the birthday celebration as an opportunity for the people of Itori to appreciate the contributions of the royal family towards sustaining unity, peace and development in the ancient town.

“On behalf of my family and associates, I wish Her Royal Highness a happy birthday and many more years of impactful service to humanity. We celebrate you today and always,” he said.

Olori Barakat Federera Akamo is widely respected in Itori Land for her support for community development initiatives and her role in promoting harmony and social welfare alongside her husband, His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Fatai Akorede Akamo.
