Governments at all levels must continue to prioritize funding for schools, strengthen teacher training, and provide safer learning environments. Private school owners, on their part, should balance profit-making with the responsibility of upholding high standards and ensuring accessibility.
Equally important is the role of parents and guardians. Beyond paying fees, they are partners in the education process. Their encouragement, discipline, and support at home remain essential to a child’s overall development.
As Nigeria looks toward the future, we must recognize that every new school term represents an opportunity to do better. If government, schools, parents, and communities work together, we can steadily build an education system that not only meets today’s needs but also equips our children to thrive in tomorrow’s world.
