Bullion Records’ fast-rising star, Abdul Rahman Yusuf, popularly known as Harcher, delivered an explosive and memorable performance that set the tone for the MTV Base Day 2025 celebration at the vibrant Voda Beach, Elegushi, Lekki, Lagos. The event, which started Friday night and ran into the early hours of Saturday, May 16–17, marked the first stop in a thrilling three-part series celebrating 20 years of MTV Base on the African continent.

Taking center stage amidst a sea of cheering fans, Harcher’s energetic delivery and commanding stage presence captivated the crowd, reaffirming his place as one of Nigeria’s most promising music sensations.
Speaking to journalists after his performance, Harcher expressed both nostalgia and excitement:

“I’ve been watching MTV Base since I was a kid. To now have my music career elevated by the same platform is a dream come true,” he said. “This performance was just a glimpse of what Bullion Records has in store for our Lagos fans. We’re taking good music lovers on a journey across the country and beyond.”

The next destination on the MTV Base Day 2025 tour is Calabar, the Canaan City, where the celebration will continue on Sunday, June 1, at the Hogis Royale Car Park.
