The executive members of Ward E of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Eti-Osa Local Government, under the leadership of their chairman, Mr. Ambali Azeez, have extended heartfelt New Year wishes to key leaders of the party in Lagos State. Among those acknowledged are the Apex leader of APC in Lagos and Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Noheem Adams, and Prince Anofi Olanrewaju Elegushi, the Commissioner of Operations at the National Hajji Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

In a statement released on January 1, 2025, Mr. Azeez lauded Governor Sanwo-Olu’s leadership and prayed for his continued good health and long life to enable him to sustain the remarkable progress being recorded across Lagos State.

“On behalf of the Ward E executive members, I wish Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu a prosperous New Year. We appreciate his efforts in transforming Lagos and are confident that he will continue his outstanding work,” Azeez stated.

He also highlighted the contributions of Prince Anofi Elegushi, describing him as a steadfast and visionary leader. According to Azeez, Prince Elegushi’s stellar performance as the former Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs earned him his current appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Commissioner of Operations at NAHCON.

“Prince Anofi Elegushi has always been a man of dedication and exceptional service. His achievements as Commissioner for Home Affairs are remarkable, and we are proud to see him taking on greater responsibilities at NAHCON. I wish him divine strength and wisdom to overcome any challenges that may come his way,” Azeez added.

Turning his attention to Hon. Noheem Adams, Azeez expressed gratitude for the majority leader’s consistent support for the party and Ward E executives.

“Hon. Noheem Adams is a dependable ally of our ward. His kind gestures and unwavering commitment to the party’s growth inspire us. On behalf of the Ward E Excos, I wish him a prosperous year ahead,” he said.

Azeez also extended New Year wishes to the Chairman of Eti-Osa Local Government, Hon. Saheed Adesegun Bankole, acknowledging his consistent backing of the ward’s activities.

“We remain grateful to Hon. Bankole for his continual support and encouragement. The Ward E Excos are united in wishing him and his administration a productive and fulfilling year,” Azeez remarked.

The chairman emphasized that the new year presents an opportunity for all APC leaders and members to strengthen their commitment to the party’s ideals and ensure the continued progress of Eti-Osa, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large.

“Our leaders have set a standard of excellence, and we must all work together to build on their legacy,” he reiterated.

This message of goodwill underscores Ward E’s alignment with the goals of APC and its readiness to contribute to the party’s collective success in 2025.
