The Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa Local Government, Hon. Saheed Adesegun Bankole, has received widespread commendation from members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and residents for his impactful development initiatives, which have brought significant improvements to the community during this festive season.

In a series of heartfelt Christmas greetings, party members and residents praised Hon. Bankole for the successful completion of several inner roads across Eti-Osa, complemented by well-constructed drainage systems to prevent flooding and improve sanitation. Notable areas that have benefitted from these projects include Igbo-Efon, Gbara Town, Mayegun Town, Ologolo Town, and Aro Town.

A resident of Mayegun Town, Mr. Semiu Ibrahim, expressed his gratitude, saying, “These roads have transformed our daily lives. Before now, moving around was a struggle, especially during the rainy season. The addition of proper drainage systems has made a huge difference, preventing water from accumulating and creating healthier living conditions. The Chairman has indeed shown commitment to improving our living standards.”

Similarly, the community acknowledged the near-completion of the Iconic Multi-Purpose Complex with a Legislative Chamber, a project described as a monumental addition to the local government. Mrs. Latifat Abogun, an indigene of Igbo-Efon, remarked, “This complex will not only serve as an administrative hub but also enhance the efficiency of governance in Eti-Osa. We are proud of this achievement, along with the well-paved roads and functional drainage systems.”

The festive season has provided an opportunity for the people of Eti-Osa to reflect on the progress made under the leadership of Hon. Bankole and his team. As one resident, Mrs. Mrs. Esther John, aptly put it, “Christmas is a time for giving thanks, and we are truly thankful for the strides in development in our community, especially the addition of drainage systems to improve sanitation and safety.”

With the continuous implementation of impactful projects such as road construction, drainage systems, and the multi-purpose complex, Hon. Bankole’s leadership has set a new standard for grassroots governance in Eti-Osa Local Government.
