The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, has appointed six zonal coordinators to oversee the party’s campaign activities across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The appointments are part of efforts to strengthen the campaign structure and coordinate mobilisation across the country as the APM prepares for the January 16, 2027 presidential election.
Those appointed are Eddy Olafeso for the South-West, Habu Muazu for the North-East, Senator Ibrahim Tsauri for the North-West, Bode Ojomu for the North-Central, Akadiaha Ebitu for the South-South and Obi Okechukwu for the South-East.

According to the campaign organisation, the six coordinators will work closely with the National Campaign Management Committee to coordinate mobilisation and issue-based campaign activities within their respective geopolitical zones.
The development comes as the Makinde-led campaign continues to build its organisational structure ahead of the 2027 presidential contest, with further appointments expected as preparations gather momentum.

The Merit Newspaper reports that the campaign organisation is expected to deploy the zonal coordinators to strengthen grassroots engagement, expand its mobilisation network and articulate the APM’s message across the various regions of the country.
Makinde’s emergence as the APM presidential candidate has placed the party among the political parties preparing early for the 2027 presidential election, with campaign structures now being established across the six geopolitical zones.
