It was a blend of politics, faith, and family Sunday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, King’s Glory Parish, Ogun State, as Hon. Abioro Damilare Athande, popularly known as ADA, and his wife, Arewa Abimbola Senami, dedicated their newborn child to God in a colorful thanksgiving service.

The baby, christened Ninuoluwa Mawukoro Zion Success Peace Miyise, was the center of celebration as friends, political associates, and congregants gathered in worship.

Hon. Abioro, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and former Senatorial Aspirant, described the moment as both humbling and joyful.

“Children are a gift from God and God takes full responsibilities at all cost,” he told the congregation.

“It is our pressure as parent and family to dedicate our child to God’s faithfulness.”

The dedication service, held to the glory of God, drew well-wishers from Ago Egun Community, Agosasa in Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State, where Abioro hails from.

The politician is the son of late Pa Abioro Hodonu, a respected elder in the community.

Clad in native attire, Hon. Abioro and his wife carried baby Ninuoluwa to the altar as the parish pastor led prayers of blessing and protection.

“We return all the glory to God for safe delivery and for the gift of Ninuoluwa Mawukoro Zion Success Peace Miyise,” the officiating minister declared, drawing a loud “Amen” from the congregation.

Speaking after the dedication, Hon. Abioro acknowledged the spiritual weight of parenthood.

The former Senatorial Aspirant and chieftain of All Progress Congress APC acknowledged the fact that “children are God’s sovereignty and it is a great privilege and joy to surrender our child’s life into the hand of God Almighty,” he said.

He referenced scripture while charging himself and other parents on their divine responsibility.

“The Bible says parents should teach their children in the way of the Lord,” Abioro stated.

“It means parents will give account for their spiritual growth and how much they seek support from God and the faith community.

According to his wife, Mrs. Arewa Abimbola Senami, “we are grateful to God for this addition to the Abioro family,” she said with full of smiles throughout the service.

“Ninuoluwa is our testimony. We pray she grows in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and man.”

Guests at the event included politicians leaders from Ipokia LGA, youths, women and members of the Ago Egun Community Development Association.

Many described ADA as a grassroots mobilizer whose personal milestones often become community events.
