A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Ogun West senatorial aspirant, Hon. Damilare Athande Abioro, has met with former Ogun State Deputy Governor, Alhaja Salimot Makanjuola Badru, ahead of the 2027 general polls.

Abioro, while speaking with newsmen shortly after a courtesy visit at her residence in Abeokuta, the state capital, described the former deputy governor as a good mother and mentor.

The APC Chieftain explained that the meeting was to discuss issues of the State and national importance.

The son of late Pa. Abioro Hodonu of Ipokia Local Government, added that Badru made the meeting a great day and pleasant experience in his political career.

According to him, the former deputy governor tutored him on leadership and what it takes to maintain a leadership position.
